Join us for an evening watercolor workshop at the lavender farm! No experience necessary! You will learn different techniques to create two watercolor greeting cards, including a wildflower & lavender design, and an abstract design.
Arrival time: Arrive at your leisure between 5:30-6:00pm to walk through the lavender fields, explore the garden, shop the farmstand boutique, meet other workshop participants and enjoy some complimentary lavender lemonade.
Class time: The workshop will run from 6:00-7:00pm
Meet Your Instructor: “My name is Sally Schaller and I’m a retired elementary art teacher with 30 years experience. I like to say I know a little bit about a lot of ways to make art! I grew up near Hollandale and live with my family in Ridgeway. I love our quiet rural life because nature is a major inspiration for me creatively. In our watercolor class, I will teach some direct instructional techniques and demonstrate some loose abstract methods, so whether or not you have experience in using watercolors, you will have the opportunity to try some different approaches. Art makes my world happy, and I hope to inspire you!”
*There is a portable restroom on site. Class is held outdoors. In case of bad weather, a cancellation date or refund will be provided! Minimum number of class participants is 4, otherwise class might be cancelled or rescheduled.
